[ Description ]

Weeks prior to Jericho Brown winning the Pulitzer Prize, filmmakers Daniel Grossman and Sean Webley met Jericho in Decatur, Georgia to film the reading of two of his poems from his collection The Tradtion. The idea was to explore how to capture poetry on film, balancing the act of adding something visually while not getting in the way of the meaning or experience of hearing the poem raw. “Poets in Space” is an exploration of how film and poetry can merge and was released with THE PARIS REVIEW.
